Chelsea have finally signed a striker after landing Romelu Lukaku and there could be more arrivals to come at Stamford Bridge this summer. The 28 year old sealed his return to Stamford Bridge some seven years after leaving for Everton. But after scoring 24 goals to help the Nerazzurri win the Serie A title last season, Lukaku is back in London to help fire the Blues to glory.
He joins Marcus Bettinelli as a new face in the dressing room after becoming club’s record signing. But there still could be space for one more arrival as Thomas Tuchel looks to challenge the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool for the title. There may well be time for a flurry of departures too, with Chelsea keen to farm out several players from their loan army’ before the transfer window shuts on August 31.

It is fair to say that when Tuchel is in a good mood, he likes to tease reporters. And when the German was asked about the Blues interest in both Erling Haaland and Lukaku, he could not resist a cheeky joke. The 47 year old was speaking to the media in a press conference before Chelsea’s opening fixture against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
